Key Selection Criteria:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic educator who brings energy, skill, and heart to their teaching. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Commitment to Catholic Identity: A respect for, and understanding of, the Catholic ethos and the mission of Catholic education.
  • Relevant Accreditation: VIT registration and accreditation to teach in a Catholic school (or willingness to undertake accreditation).
  • Team Spirit: A collaborative mindset with a commitment to being an active and positive member of the teaching team.
  • Differentiated Practice: A strong grasp of personalised and differentiated learning to meet the needs of all students.
  • Instructional Expertise: Proven capability in delivering explicit instruction in key areas such as Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Student Wellbeing Awareness: An understanding of strategies that support wellbeing and enhance engagement.
  • Relational Strengths: The ability to build trusting, learning-focused relationships with students and families.
  • Communication Skills: Clear, respectful, and effective communication with children, families, colleagues, and the wider school community.
  • Community Engagement: A willingness to get involved in the life of the school through participation in school events and initiatives.
  • Commitment to Growth: A reflective practitioner who is open to feedback, learning, and ongoing improvement.
  • Digital Confidence: Competence in using technology to support learning – experience with Google Workspace and Seesaw is advantageous.
