About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at The Narangba Family Medical Practice in Narangba, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering afternoon closing shifts Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and welcoming manner
• Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's calendar
• Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services
• Collecting and processing patient registration and insurance information
• Maintaining organised patient records and files
• Assisting with other administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
• Proficiency in using medical software and office equipment
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A friendly, professional and adaptable approach to work
