A federal government agency delivering large-scale SAP transformation programs across critical national platforms. This role supports a high-impact project focused on OpenText xECM integration within SAP environments, contributing to secure and scalable digital infrastructure.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced
OpenText Technical Consultant – SAP Basis
to join a high-performance team delivering enterprise-grade solutions. You'll be responsible for the installation, configuration, and support of OpenText xECM for SAP, working across multiple environments and ensuring seamless integration and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade OpenText xECM components including Content Server, Directory Services, Web Services, and Archive Centre.
  • Support full lifecycle implementations of OpenText xECM for SAP—from design to go-live.
  • Perform system monitoring, patch management, performance tuning, and backup/recovery.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis teams to ensure seamless integration and system stability.
  • Provide technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Experience:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with OpenText xECM for SAP.
  • Proven track record in SAP Extended ECM implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of OpenText architecture and administration.
  • Experience with OpenText System Center and related tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Highly Desirable:

  • OpenText and SAP certifications.
  • Experience delivering complex SAP projects in government or enterprise environments.
  • NV1 clearance (or Baseline clearance with eligibility to obtain NV1).
  • Australian Citizenship
    (mandatory due to security clearance requirements).
