Adelaide, South Australia City Community Children's Centre Full time $45,000 - $65,000 per year

City Community Children's Centre is a community based service located in the CBD near bus and tram lines. We are seeking enthusiastic & motivated educators to join our team. Our service is committed to small group sizes in all age groups. Successful applicants must be able to work between 7am & 6pm for any permanent positions.

We are currently restructuring and will consider applications for any future positions.

Diploma position

Permanent Full-time or Part-time positions

We are in the process of restructuring and looking for motivated and passionate educators to join our team.

  1. Team- Coordinator Position 10% above award + Retention grant Position requires successful applicant to have experience working with under two year olds and working knowledge of the National Standards and Early Years Frame work.
  2. Diploma Permanent position Level % above award + Retention grant Diploma full time or job share position with the over twos age groups. Experience with 3-5year olds would be advantageous. The successful applicant must have some experience in Early Years learning setting and developed communication skills as a major part of your role will be liaising with families at the end of the day. The shift requires that you are able to close at 6pm. There is flexibility in relation to the age groups and being with the under twos pending on the applicant.

A cover letter & resume is required.

The following is required for both positions:

  • Approved Early Years Diploma
  • Developed communication skills
  • Working knowledge of the Early years learning Framework and Legislation
  • Professionalism
  • Experience in writing individual children's plans and observations
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate, Police Clearance, Asthma and Anaphylaxis and current Child Protection training on commencement.
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate, Police Clearance, Food Safety Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis and current Safe Environment Training

Casual relief Educators

We are seeking Casual relief educators to join our relief list.

Both Diploma & Educators with Certificate 3 are encouraged to apply for relief. Students with specific days available are welcome to apply.

Please be clear about your qualification and availability in your application. Relief positions are casual not set hours and is pendant on our services needs & bookings. Permanent applicants must be available to work across the opening hours. The above paper work is required for all positions.
