We are seeking a chef to independently run the kitchen. Our new kitchen is purposely build. You must be available to work 6:30am-2:30pm, 5 days a week.

It is important to serve delicious and nutritious meals to children. Our resourced facilities provide ample opportunity for the creative Chef to put their own stamp on the Menu, highlighting their strengths and interests in the kitchen.

This unique opportunity is perfect for a candidate who is experienced in delivering a balanced menu for children across age groups. The role requires knowledge of meal preparation, food handling, menu planning and implementation of a Food Safety Program and ordering. The successful candidate will hold a Certificate in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent and have a wealth of experience in preparing meals using various ingredients, including meeting dietary and cultural preferences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare meals for 136 children daily
  • Prepare nutritious and appealing food
  • Work as part of the team and be open to constructive criticism
  • Weekly Shopping order according to our Menu
  • Menu Planning and Evaluating ensuring you are meeting all Children's Dietary requirements and allergies
  • All Documentation in regards to the kitchen and food safety
  • Comply with all healthy, safety and hygiene requirements
  • All Cleaning throughout the Kitchen and maintenance
