We're looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Midwife – Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) to join our small, dedicated team in Weipa — a place where community, culture, and connection come together in one of Australia's most unique coastal towns.

About the role

The Midwifery Group Practice midwife will provide primary midwifery care for an allocated group of women all-risk clients), in collaboration with other health care providers within the Midwifery Group Practice, at Weipa Integrated Health Service and the surrounding remote communities within a continuity of care model.

As part of the MGP team, you'll provide continuity of care to women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. You'll be part of a supportive, collaborative team working across the full scope of midwifery practice — in a setting where your expertise really makes a difference.

This isn't city midwifery. You'll get to know your clients, follow them through their journey, and deliver care that's personal, empowering, and deeply rewarding.

• Permanent full-time role with an annualised salary package with additional 35% loading and 6 weeks Recreation leave.
