The role

  • Manage a portfolio of clients across retail and wholesale products, ensuring their insurance needs are fully supported
  • Provide tailored advice to clients on insurance programs, market trends, and claims processes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and colleagues to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention
  • Lead policy renewal processes including gathering underwriting information, negotiating with underwriters, and preparing renewal documents within agreed timeframes
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling and building client networks
  • Prepare and present proposals, recommendations, and quotations to clients and underwriters
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, company policies, and professional standards
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development while embodying the company's vision and values

About You

  • Tier 1 in Insurance Broking (mandatory)
  • Extensive experience in commercial or corporate insurance broking with strong technical knowledge of products and claims processes
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients with professionalism and efficiency
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to secure the best outcomes for clients
  • Exceptional relationship management and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive approach to business development and a passion for delivering outstanding client outcomes
  • High level of accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail in all tasks
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively and mentor others
