Motor Mechanic

Capalaba Auto works is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team in Capalaba 4157. As a full-time Motor Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers receive the highest quality service.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in a variety of vehicles
• Carrying out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
• Performing complex repairs and overhauls on engines, transmissions, and other major vehicle components
• Interpreting technical manuals and using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve problems
• Providing exceptional customer service and advice to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintaining detailed records of work performed and parts used

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics or a related field
• Extensive experience (minimum 2 years) as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on a wide range of vehicle makes and models
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to customers in a clear and concise manner
• A commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail
• A valid driver's licence and your own tools
