Marketing Executive

Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join a rapidly growing business, MyRacehorse. This role will be based in Melbourne and work with a team of passionate like-minded individuals with an ambition to positively disrupt the racing industry and create engaging ownership experiences in Australia.

This position reports into the Marketing & Content Manager.

We are on the hunt for someone who is passionate about a career in marketing, creating elite customer experiences, through quality service, exciting marketing and problem solving creative ideas.

Key Responsibilities

Brands

• Marketing support of the MyRacehorse flagship brands
• MyRacehorse Ownership: Micro-Shares and Plus
• Mane Street: Merchandise, Memorabilia
• Breeding and new products to market

Above The Line & Below The Line Marketing

• Support the Marketing & Content Manager through all marketing channels. You will have exposure to TV, PR, digital, social, while learning the ropes to master 1:1 communications of email and SMS
• Skills you will learn include; Brand marketing, creative ideation, writing copy, personalisation and segmentation, and how to utilise insights.

Promotions

• Develop ideas and execute various promotions for MyRacehorse that drives business objectives.

Social Media - Paid and Organic

• Assist in executing and optimising paid campaigns across Meta, YouTube and TikTok to support brand, acquisition, and promotional goals.
• Gain hands-on experience using ad management tools and analytics platforms to measure ROI and improve efficiency across paid activity.
• Support planning, creation, and scheduling of engaging organic content across MyRacehorse channels to drive awareness, community growth, and engagement.
• Collaborate with design and partnerships teams to deliver creative, on-brand storytelling aligned to campaigns and racing moments.

• Interest in racing and sport is ideal.

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business/Commerce (with major in Marketing).
• Willingness to learn - familiarity with Salesforce is looked upon favourably but not essential.
• Excellent ability to work within a team environment and effectively share knowledge, ideas and information with the team
• Willingness to roll up the sleeves and stretch out of your comfort zone.
• Strong comprehension and writing skills with the ability to relate to customers with tone.
• Canva, photoshop or other design skills are preferred.
• Experience with owning horses is ideal but not essential.
• Occasional Saturday work is required in this role.
