About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Don Street Medical in Bendigo, Victoria. In this part-time/Full time role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our general practitioners in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting general practitioners
  • Conducting health assessments, immunisations, care plans and routine nursing duties
  • Providing patient education and promoting preventative health measures through active recalls
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Adhering to infection control protocols and workplace health and safety standards

What we're looking for

  • Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience working in a general practice or similar primary care setting
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current nursing practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and the healthcare team
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficient in using Medical Director/Pracsoft
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
