Qualified Linesman | Perth Metro & Regional WA | $55/hr + OT, Penalties & Site Allowances | Full-Time

Opportunity

Join a leading WA electrical contractor delivering construction and maintenance projects across the Western Power network and major mining sites. With a strong safety culture and 40+ years of combined experience, this team offers consistent metro and regional work with room to step up into leadership roles.

Roster & Pay:

• $55/hr + overtime, penalties & site allowances
• Monday–Friday | Overtime & weekend work available
• Metro, regional & FIFO project opportunities
• Modern fleet, tools & PPE provided

Duties:

• Build, maintain & refurbish overhead distribution assets on utility & mining networks
• Install & replace poles, crossarms, insulators, conductors & hardware
• Operate EWPs, cranes & MR/HR trucks for pole-top & lifting operations
• Perform planned outages & make-safe work under authorised permits
• Complete JSAs, Take 5s, permits & as-built documentation
• Maintain plant, tools & vehicles to safe operating standards

Experience Required:

• Certificate III in ESI – Powerline (essential)
• High Risk EWP licence (WP class)
• MR or HR driver's licence (minimum MR required)
• First Aid & CPR certification (current)
• Able to pass pre-employment medical, D&A & Police Clearance

Desirable:

• Western Power authorisations
• C2/C6 slewing crane licence
• Experience on Western Power or mining networks
