Opportunities exist for experienced and committed Support Workers to assist a client live his best life on Kangaroo Island

We have several opportunities for experienced support workers to join our Kangaroo Island roster and work *various* shifts

You will be required to assist our client who has a high-level spinal cord injury with all aspects of his care needs.

Your roster would be 2 weeks on the island and 2 weeks off. Accommodation provided.

Suitable applicants must have:

  • Certificate III in Individual Supports, Disability Cert IV or equivalent
  • NDIS Worker Clearance
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Manual Handling certificate
  • Reliable vehicle, sound driving history and a valid driver's licence
  • Experience in supporting a client with a Spinal Cord Injury is preferred
  • Clear communication, negotiating and listening skills.
  • Have a person-centred approach and are confident in your practice
  • Be available for immediate start.

  • Paid well above the Award.
