Support Worker – Casual Positions (Multiple Locations Across Sydney)

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers (male and female) to join our dedicated team. This is a casual position with shifts ranging from 2 to 4 hours shift per day across various Sydney locations.

Applicants must have their own reliable vehicle and be willing to undertake all tasks, including short 2-hour shifts.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Aged Care and/or Disability Care
  • Certificate, Diploma, Degree or currently studying in Aged Care, Nursing, Community Services, or a related discipline
  • Current driver's licence and reliable car (essential)
  • Willingness to work across multiple locations and with a variety of clients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and professionally

Salary

In accordance with the relevant Award.

Services Provided by Support Workers

  • Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, mobility, and/or medication prompting
  • Domestic Assistance: Light cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Transport: Driving clients to/from appointments, shopping, or social activities
  • Social Support: Encouraging community access and meaningful social interaction

Primary Objective

To support clients with personal care, daily living activities, domestic assistance, social engagement, transport, and meal preparation—while maintaining professionalism, respect, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality and timely support as directed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
  • Assist clients with self-care and daily living tasks
  • Provide safe transport for appointments and community activities
  • Deliver services in a culturally appropriate manner
  • Adhere to food safety, WHS, and organisational standards
  • Contribute to the review and continuous improvement of care services
