About The Role
The
Family Health Coordinator
role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Maternal and Child Health professional to shape service excellence in a capital-city environment.

You will lead clinical governance, service planning and integration, building workforce capability and a constructive culture across a dedicated Family Health team.

Your leadership will help set the standard for high-quality, customer-centred family health services across Melbourne.

In this role you will deliver impactful outcomes for families, strengthen public health services, and support the strategic goals of the City of Melbourne.

  • Provide system-level clinical governance and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Lead business, workforce and service-model planning aligned to reform and growth
  • Strengthen integration across Family and Children Services at the City of Melbourne.
  • Build capability, culture and performance across the Family Health workforce
  • Ensure services are responsive, inclusive and accessible to Melbourne's diverse and rapidly growing communities, supporting equitable outcomes for all families

What your experience might look like - Key Selection Criteria

  • Current AHPRA registration as a division 1 Registered Nurse and Midwife, plus MCH qualifications
  • Expertise in child and family health nursing, including translating evidence into service models
  • Experience leading teams through people leaders, with strong workforce development capability
  • Proven ability to implement service improvements, policies, and quality frameworks
  • Experience in financial and business planning within a complex service environment
