About the role:

We are seeking a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Cabinet Maker to join a locally owned business based in Baringa. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in cabinet making while gaining hands-on industry experience and completing a Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology (MSF30322).

Key Responsibilites:

As an apprentice, you'll learn every aspect of the trade, including:

  • Assisting across the cabinet making workshop as an all-rounder
  • Accepting and checking incoming material deliveries
  • Operating machinery including CNC and edgebanding machines
  • Packing and organising hardware for projects
  • Assisting with loading and completing client deliveries
  • Supporting tradespeople and team members with general workshop tasks
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace

We're after someone who is:

  • Reliable, committed, and eager to learn
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and handling materials
  • Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
  • Safety-conscious with good attention to detail
  • Confident with basic hand tools (advantageous but not essential)
  • Well-spoken and literate, with strong communication skills

Requirements:

  • Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain before starting)
  • Drivers Licence and own transport
