About the role
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused La Mono Counter Staff/Waiter to join our vibrant team in Casula, NSW 2170. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional table service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our valued customers.
Australian work rights are essential for this position.
This role requires availability to work both day and evening shifts.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen team
- Serving food and drinks to customers in a timely and attentive way
- Ensuring the dining area is clean, tidy and well-stocked at all times
- Handling cash and processing payments accurately
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing any customer queries or concerns
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to contribute to the smooth running of the business
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide friendly and efficient service
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm, flexibility and a positive attitude
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale system skills
- A passion for food, coffee and creating an exceptional customer experience
