As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Towbar Installer / Motor Accessory Fitter to join our friendly team.

About the Role

You will be responsible for installing a wide range of motor accessories, including towbars, roof racks, bull bars, electric brake controllers, and towing-related wiring on both new and older vehicles. The role is based out of our Campbellfield workshop, with a mix of mobile installations at customers' homes and mechanical workshops across Melbourne.

If you are a hands-on problem solver with a mechanical background and take pride in doing a job properly, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install towbars, electric brake controllers, roof racks, bull bars, and towing-related wiring.
  • Carry out both workshop and mobile installations to a high standard.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety and manufacturer standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and represent Melbourne Towbars professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Motor Accessory Fitter or in a similar automotive or mechanical role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Great communication and customer service abilities.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
