WMPG is currently looking for full time container loader/General labourer. Reporting to the Cold Stores supervisor, you will be responsible for performing duties which include but are not limited to:

  • Loading the meat boxes into truck/container by lifting, carrying and slinging the boxes into a stacked position
  • Stacking the truck/sea container with meat boxes from the pallet
  • Moving the pallet to appropriate locations within the truck
  • Operating Electric Pallet Jack (training provided)
  • General Housekeeping of cold store area
  • General duties as directed.

About you

  • Must be physically fit.
  • Ability to manually load the containers repetitively.
  • Able to work consistently and repetitively.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to work 5 days a week - Monday to Friday from 07:00 am
  • Comfortable working in a chilled environment
  • Availability to work until the containers are finished.
  • Finishing time will be variable depend on quantity of containers.
