Key responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations related to client variations, upgrades, and rectifications.
  • Supervise and coordinate team members and subcontractors to ensure all works are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Read and interpret landscape plans, variation documents, and work orders accurately.
  • Set out and prepare worksites, ensuring materials, plants, and equipment are organised before starting tasks.
  • Carry out and oversee landscaping works such as turf laying, planting, mulching, paving, retaining walls, edging, and irrigation adjustments.
  • Maintain quality control throughout each stage of the job, checking finishes and ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure all works meet safety, environmental, and legislative requirements on-site.
  • Liaise with supervisors, project managers, and clients to confirm variation details and communicate progress.
  • Resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently to keep projects on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite at all times.
  • Support and mentor apprentices, providing guidance and on-the-job training.

  • Driver's licence (Manual or Automatic)
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
