As a Practice we pride ourselves in providing a personal and individualised approach to healthcare.   The successful Nurse must be enthusiastic, vibrant and a strong team player who has a keen interest in General Practice Nursing providing good patient outcomes. We are looking for a Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our experienced team.

You will be working your rostered shifts at St Agnes Surgery and Tea Tree Medical Centre supported by our experienced Nurse leads who inspire with their passion for primary health care.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and IT skills, be honest, reliable and professional.

We are looking for a nurse with flexibility to work across a minimum of 2 days per week, and to be included on the Saturday morning roster. Flexibility to pick up additional hours for personal and holiday leave when necessary will be highly regarded.

We are a 7 day practice with Monday - Friday hours between 8.00am and 6.00pm and nurses rostered Saturday mornings only (no Sunday or public holiday work).

Essential Selection criteria:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in General Nursing
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current Drivers Licence (travel between locations may be required)
  • Current Working with Children Clearance
  • National Police Clearance

Desirable Experience in

  • Immunisation of children and adults
  • Wound Care Management
  • Sterilisation/ Infection Control and cold chain management
  • Health Assessments and care plans
  • Policy and Procedure Implementation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all ages and social groups
  • Have a vigilant attitude to accuracy
  • Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively with the ability to prioritise and organise whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Show Empathy and interest in the patient's needs
