Join the team
Reporting to the GM Property, you'll lead a team of managers and specialists responsible for delivering best-in-class facilities management across our corporate offices and national store network. With accountability for a significant asset base and operating budget, you'll drive operational excellence, energy performance, compliance, and supplier partnerships that enable Kmart to deliver an outstanding in-store experience.
What you'll be doing
To be successful in this role you'll have:
10–15 years of experience in facilities management or property leadership roles, ideally in a retail environment.Bachelor's degree or extensive industry experience in facilities management, engineering, or related discipline (trade qualifications in electrical/air-conditioning highly regarded).Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance systems, building compliance, and OH&S obligations.Proven experience managing large-scale budgets, contracts, and supplier relationships.Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to partner across diverse stakeholders.Strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational delivery and long-term planning.Strong leadership capability—experienced in managing managers and fostering high-performance teams.Benefits we'll offer you:
