About the Role
This exciting hybrid
BDM/Property Manager
role offers an ideal blend of property management and business development responsibilities, with a focus on managing a quality portfolio of approximately 100 properties. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to both landlords and tenants while actively driving the growth of our rent roll through business development initiatives.
- Fixed Term Engagement: 6-month agreement with a strong likelihood of extension to 12 months, providing flexibility and room to showcase your capabilities.
- Prime Manningham Location: Based at our Manningham office, you'll collaborate with a supportive, high-achieving team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of approximately 100 residential properties, ensuring premium care and timely communication for landlords and tenants.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the rent roll, nurture leads, and convert prospects into satisfied clients.
- Deliver seamless end-to-end property management, including leasing, maintenance, renewals, and inspections.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and referral partners, ensuring a five-star service experience.
- Collaborate with the broader team to identify process improvements and contribute to marketing and growth strategies.
- Uphold compliance with relevant legislation, agency protocols, and the Marshall White standard of service excellence.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in property management, business development, or a hybrid BDM/property manager role.
- Sound understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and current property legislation.
- Ability to manage priorities, multitask, and deliver results within agreed timeframes.
- Professional presentation, excellent verbal and written communication, and a client-first attitude.
- Strong relationship-building skills—confident with negotiation, nurturing leads, and conversion.
- Self-motivated with proactive problem-solving abilities and strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency with property management and CRM software.
