Kingsford Locksmiths & Security is seeking an experienced Locksmith Tradesman or a 3rd/4th Year Apprentice to join our team in Sydney. This full-time role is integral to the growth of our locksmithing services, ensuring our customers receive prompt and professional assistance.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing a wide range of locksmithing services, including lock installations, repairs, rekeying and key cutting
  • Responding to emergency call-outs and attending to customers' premises in a timely manner
  • Diagnosing and resolving lock-related issues using your extensive technical knowledge
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, attention to detail and friendly customer service
  • Contributing to the ongoing improvement and development of our locksmithing services

What we're looking for

  • Formal locksmithing qualifications or a 3rd/4th year apprenticeship in locksmithing
  • Intercom and access control knowledge preferred but not essential
  • Car key duplication and diagnostics knowledge preferred but not essential
  • Proven experience as a locksmith, with a strong understanding of lock mechanisms and security systems
  • Excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently and also in a team
  • A valid driver's licence
  • A valid NSW Security License (can assist for the right candidate)
  • Working With Children Check
  • National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety
