About the role
Metal Roofing & Building Supplies P/L' is seeking a expoerienced Powder Coater to join our team in Smeaton Grange, NSW. As a Powder Coater, you will play a vital role in the finishing process of our high-quality metal products, ensuring they meet our quality standards. This is a full-time position, offering a stable and rewarding career within our growing Trades & Services organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and coating metal surfaces with powder coat to achieve a durable, high-quality finish
- Operating and maintaining powder coating equipment, including spray guns, ovens, and other related machinery
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet specified colour, thickness, and appearance requirements
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the powder coating process
- Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Powder Coater or similar role within the industry
- Understanding of powder coating techniques and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
