Your week will include engaging with teams, conducting walkthroughs of processes, reviewing evidence, and preparing reports for committees. Think of it as a mix of audit and consulting; hands-on, collaborative, and focused on making sure our controls are effective and continuously improving.

  • Engage with stakeholders through walkthroughs, evidence reviews, and analysis.

  • Prepare reports with actionable insights for executive and board-level audiences.

  • Present assurance outcomes to Audit Committees and governance forums.

  • Track and monitor remediation actions and assurance trends.

  • Collaborate with business units to ensure timely closure of findings.

About you

You're an experienced assurance professional with a strong background in audit or risk and compliance, ideally within financial services. You thrive on stakeholder engagement, have excellent analytical and communication skills, and can confidently present to executive leadership and committees.

Skills and experience you bring;

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Law, or related discipline.

  • 7–10 years' experience in assurance, audit, or compliance roles within financial services.

  • Exposure to superannuation and investment management highly regarded.

  • Strong understanding of APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, ATO, and OAIC requirements.

  • Experience with control testing methodologies and risk frameworks.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and drive continuous improvement.
