About us

Joeys Pre-School & Early Learning Centre is a newly opened privately owned and operated service located in Metford.

Our service is purpose built and and freshly refurbished that encompasses home-like indoor environments and a large open outdoor environment filled with natural elements.

The service is open from 6:00am to 6:00pm, and is licensed for 60 places arranged as follows:

  • 8 Babies 0 - 18months
  • 12 Babies 18 months to 2.5 years
  • 20 Toddlers 2.5 years to 3.5 years
  • 20 Pre-Schoolers 3.5 years to 6 years.

Management Team

The service is supported by a knowledgeable, experienced, and compassionate management and leadership team consisting of:

  • Nominated Supervisor (Diploma working towards ECT),
  • Approved Provider (Diploma working towards ECT)
  • Dedicated Educational Leader (ECT)

With a significant length of service, all 3 have extensive experience both on and off the floor ensuring that they are able support and guide the team with understanding and knowledge.

Due to the Joeys family growing, and the community needs increasing, we are looking to welcome another educator

About you

A passionate person wanting a career in early childhood education.

The successful candidate will need to have:

  • Certificate III in Children's Services;
  • Working With Children Check, First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection Training, or willingness to obtain;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a small, close-knit team and positively guide our trainees;
  • Commitment to excellence and striving towards ongoing quality improvement;
  • Open-minded to new ways of programming and planning;
  • A love for building connections with children and families;

  • Programming and Planning Experience
