We are seeking a Senior Baker with substantial artisan bread and pastry expertise to play a pivotal role in our bakery operations. You will work closely with the team, taking ownership of production.
You'll be expected to maintain and elevate our standards of excellence in production, execution and presentation. This role requires strong technical ability in laminated doughs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and execute high-volume artisan pastry production to exacting standards
• Lead recipe development and continuous product refinement
• Monitor quality control, production schedules, and ingredient management
• Ensure hygiene and food safety compliance at the highest level
• Support recruitment and training of new bakery staff
What We're Looking For
• Minimum 3 years' experience in professional baking
• Proven supervisory experience within a bakery
• Excellent time and team management skills
• Commitment to quality, precision, and innovation in baking

We're a growing hospo group in Sydney (specialty cafes + pizza) and we actually care about quality, systems and showing up on time. We're building our own product range (cakes/pastries/savoury bakes) and want someone who gets excited about consistency.
