SAP Integration Team Lead/ Manager

We're representing a leading enterprise to recruit an
SAP Integration Team Lead/Manager
for their Group IT function. To be considered, you'll bring
hands-on expertise in SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, and Microsoft Azure Integration Services
, along with proven leadership experience guiding technical teams and partners. This role owns the delivery and reliability of integrations across a complex application landscape, leading a small in-house team and coordinating offshore partners to keep critical business processes flowing.

What you'll do

  • Lead the Delivery Integration Team
    (people leadership, performance, coaching, and career development) and manage
    offshore integration support partners
    .
  • Set and execute integration strategy
    in partnership with Architecture, Platform Managers and Delivery/Project Managers.
  • Design, build and support
    secure, reliable and scalable integrations across enterprise systems.
  • Drive
    operational resilience
    : monitoring, logging, alerting, exception handling, and robust
    DR
    to meet
    RTO/RPO
    targets.
  • Oversee
    BAU and project delivery
    , balancing resources across both.
  • Ensure platforms and interfaces are
    patched, backed up, vulnerability-managed
    , and lead upgrade programs when required.
  • Maintain
    clear technical documentation
    (architecture diagrams, design specs, guidelines).
  • Champion
    best practice
    across configuration, development, testing, data integrity and security.
  • Identify and mitigate risk
    proactively; recommend process and system improvements.
  • Support planning, estimation and
    resource allocation
    with Delivery/Platform Managers and PMs.
  • Act as a
    thought leader
    for integration across the Group.

  • SAP Integration Suite

    Azure Integration Services
  • Protocols/standards:
    REST, SOAP, HTTP, FTP, JMS, JSON, XML
  • Nice to have:
    MuleSoft
    ,
    Axway
    ,
    Splunk
    (monitoring/observability), and VAN experience (e.g.
    SPS Commerce
    )

About you

  • Extensive experience as an
    Integration Architect / Technical Lead
    across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Proven track record delivering
    full lifecycle
    integration initiatives (implementations, upgrades, patching) while running BAU.
  • Strong leadership of small technical teams and
    vendor/partner management
    .
  • Hands-on capability across SAP Integration Suite and Azure Integration Services, with deep knowledge of integration patterns and operational run disciplines (job scheduling, exception handling, daily ops).
  • Excellent stakeholder skills — able to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Quality-driven: you care about documentation, standards, security/PII compliance and continuous improvement.
