Mobile Plant – Maintenance Coordinator

We are a WA based, privately owned diversified mining business. We have a substantial fleet of mobile plant up to 200t in size with our operations focused in the goldfields region. Our fleet includes the typical trucks, diggers, dozers and loaders as well as a fleet of prime movers, floats and drill rigs.

In-house maintenance is a core function of our business. We have site-based field service teams and a large workshop in Bibra Lake for rebuilds and commissioning.

This is a critical role for us, supporting the Plant Team at large and working alongside our GM – Plant.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ownership of all administration tasks associated with acquiring, transporting, commissioning, maintaining, relocating and disposing of our fleet (and anything in between).
  • Managing our light vehicle (LV) fleet including hire, allocation, and demobilisation
  • Managing all plant processes and procedures
  • Managing relevant PO's and invoices
  • Support end-of-month claims
  • Ownership of our continual improvement process
  • Supporting the GM and team with reporting, documentation and general coordination

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Substantial procurement experience
  • A passionate for detail and obsessive about execution
  • Great communication skills
  • A natural ability to work alone or in a dynamic team environment
  • An inherent desire to finish what is started and taking pride in delivering great outcomes
