About the Role
This is a newly created position for our Brisbane or Canberra offices; we are kicking goals and growing our team
We are looking for a motivated Principal Consultant to join our Australian Consulting team.
This opportunity is ideal for a proactive individual who has solid experience in consulting to clients across multiple industries, including government clients, and engaging with senior stakeholders regarding a variety of talent solutions, including, but not limited to, psychometric assessment, coaching, and talent and leadership development.
We are looking for a solutions-focused team member who thinks creatively to solve client talent challenges, and who can learn new skills and information quickly and apply those in a variety of situations. Commercially minded, collaborative, and excited to contribute to the growth of our business, you will thrive in a role where you can personally make a difference.
- Manage and deliver talent solutions for our clients, including talent assessment campaigns, psychometric profiling and report writing, assessment centres and leadership development programs
- Have ownership of key client accounts, where you can shape strategy and partner on the design and delivery of key initiatives
- Lead business development opportunities with clients, and especially with government clients, with the support of a proven sales team
- Build, analyse, and verify the integrity of project data files (e.g., score reports, surveys, validation ratings/surveys, etc.)
- Host and participate in internal and client project meetings and account reviews
- Supporting Talogy initiatives such as industry events and careers expos
About You
- Australian citizen
- A master's or bachelor's degree in psychology (Industrial-Organisational preferred), business, or other relevant fields is a must.
- Registered Psychologist with 10+ years of selection, assessment, leadership development, or other relevant experience required
- Proven track record of directly managing clients and leading complex projects
- Demonstrated ability to build professional credibility with clients and a high degree of customer focus, ideally with a strong local professional network
- Interest in learning and willingness to get involved in new and different projects, spanning the continuum from selection to development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and work with limited supervision, but willing to ask questions
- Strong organisation skills and ability to multitask and prioritise accordingly
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to influence and persuade others
- Willing and able to travel when required or attend occasional national and global meetings, which may fall outside regular business hours
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, and video conferencing
