About Us

San Carlo Homes for the Aged Ltd is a not-for-profit aged care provider dedicated to supporting elderly Italians who can no longer live independently. Located in South Morang, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and rewarding work environment where staff are valued for their commitment to delivering high-quality care. We are currently seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team.

About the Role

As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our residents. Your work will directly contribute to infection control and the overall wellbeing of those in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility
  • Follow infection control protocols and cleaning best practices
  • Engage with residents in a respectful, friendly, and positive manner

What We're Looking For

  • Previous cleaning experience in aged care (highly regarded)
  • Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, safe handling, and disposal
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Valid National Police Check (standard or full disclosure)
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Familiarity with Aged Care Quality Standards
  • An immediate start
