Position Summary

The Technology & Operations Analyst is a graduate level role providing support across IT administration, cybersecurity, and business operations. The role offers a balance of technical exposure and operational support, including assisting with cyber controls, IT administration, governance documentation, and customer communications. This position reports to the CIO and provides an opportunity to gain broad experience while contributing to both technology and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Technology and Cyber

  • Run cybersecurity reviews and maintain documentation including policies, controls, and compliance registers
  • Assist with account administration including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Jira
  • Support implementation and tracking of IT and cyber controls such as multi factor authentication, patching, and access reviews
  • Prepare and send IT related communications to customers
  • Manage escalations with service providers to ensure timely resolution

Operations and Governance

  • Collect and reconcile IT receipts and invoices and provide to Finance
  • Assist with project governance and reporting under the direction of the CIO
  • Document processes and maintain governance records for IT and cyber functions
  • Run small IT or operational projects with CIO support
  • Prepare clear communication and updates for internal stakeholders

Candidate Profile

  • Recent graduate in IT, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related discipline
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to balance technical tasks with administrative and stakeholder facing work
  • Comfortable learning new systems and working across multiple priorities
  • Interest in developing a career across IT, cybersecurity, or business governance

Reporting Line

Reports to: Chief Information Officer

Remuneration

Base salary: Approximately $65,000 to $70,000 plus superannuation

Salary to be reviewed after 12 months based on performance

Career Development

This role provides hands on exposure to IT administration, cybersecurity compliance, vendor management, and executive level operations. Clear pathways exist to progress into IT operations, cybersecurity, or governance roles within 18 to 24 months.
