General Hands

Labourforce is proud to partner with clients working in various industries who offer 3PL solutions to businesses. Our clients are located within 15km North, South, East and West of Brisbane's CBD and are looking for ad-hoc, and part time general hands to join the team. Work is not guaranteed, and is on an ad-hoc/irregular basis at times. This will be best for those looking to fill extra days in their week, or who have commitments similar to tertiary studies etc.

Pay rate will start at $32ph, with allowances and penalties offered for overtime, weekend work and shift work

Your day will include (note - these are a list of duties across all companies. You are likely to only be responsible for 1 or 2 of the below dot points per job):

• Picking of customer orders, and staging them for delivery
• Unloading and loading of freight from containers by hand
• Sorting of freight
• Report to your team leader about any discrepancies with receiving
• Assisting with cleaning the warehouse where necessary

About you:

• Past experience in a similar role would be advantageous, but not required
• Being accepting to training, and being coachable will allow you to learn the specific ways of working quickly
• Physically fit, as you may need to lift up to 20kgs
