About the role

As a Carpenter 1st Year Apprentice at NPWCONSTRUCTIONS PTY LTD, you will be joining a growing construction company based in Camden, NSW. This full-time role offers the opportunity to learn and develop your carpentry skills through hands-on experience and formal training. You will work closely with experienced tradespeople to build, repair and maintain a variety of residential structures.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting experienced carpenters with the construction, installation and repair of wooden and steel structures, fixtures and fittings
  • Learning how to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications
  • Developing skills in the safe use of hand and power tools
  • Participating in on-the-job training and attending TAFE classes to gain your carpentry qualification
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations on site
