APT (Advanced Polymer Technology) is the leading global manufacturer of polyurethane-based materials, acrylic coatings and synthetic turf products for sporting and recreational applications.

An exciting opportunity exists to join a team which is part of a supply chain doing the greater good for the community. Within your new position your primary objective will be to build relationships with existing and new customers to strengthen the APTA Customer Service department.  Also, assist the Operations group in all aspects of customer-related processes and administrate the sales order procedure. Plus, schedule day to day deliveries in co-ordination with customer requirements and APTA warehouse schedule.

Responsibilities include (but not limited too):

  • Sales Order Processing – administrate order entry, order review and order confirmation procedures.
  • Sales Order requirement communication within Operations group and Accounting department.
  • Sales Order communication to internal and external customers.
  • Centralise customer communication.
  • Sales Order entry based on customer requirements.
  • Sales Order maintenance including order details like ship-to-instructions, products, quantities, pricing, terms etc.
  • Sales Order requirement review with Production Management and accounting.
  • Order confirmation and hand-over to Inventory and Logistics.
  • Establish and maintain customer order filing system.
  • Monitor and ensure order closure after confirmation, shipping and invoicing.
  • Maintain local freight register.
  • Other general office duties

Who you are:

  • Understanding of customer related processes
  • Understanding of Syspro software package or similar (training to be provided)
  • A good team player
  • Strong skills in relationship building.

  • Microsoft Office suite

  • Immediate start available for the right candidate
