Light and Medium Vehicle Planner

We are currently seeking a Light and Medium Vehicle Planner to join our team, based at Curragh Mine but also supporting our Jellinbah Project near Blackwater.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this role is responsible for developing and coordinating short, medium, and long-term maintenance plans for the light vehicle fleet to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance. You will play a critical role in scheduling, resource planning, and ensuring compliance with maintenance standards while supporting the production, maintenance and technical teams to deliver efficient operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop maintenance plans, budgets, and forecasts in line with site planning procedures

  • Coordinate service schedules, repairs, and inspections to minimise downtime

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment history, service intervals, and component life
  • Maintain compliance for maintenance, tooling, fire systems and electrical statutory checks.
  • Maintain and monitor the integrity of SAP maintenance data and related systems
  • Step up into the HME Planning and Scheduling roles to provide coverage during periods of leave or high workload.
  • Oversee and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for the HME fleet to optimise equipment reliability and availability
  • Oversee and manage repairable spare parts within the inventory system, ensuring component tracking, turnaround, and availability meet operational requirements

About You:

  • Experience with light vehicles, LV workshops, and associated maintenance practices
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, MS Excel, and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of life cycle costing, budgeting, and reliability principles
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
