Solicitor with minimum 2 years PAE

Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with minimum 2 years post admission experience to join our close-knit team on a full-time role basis.
The successful applicant will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years PAE (this is must);
- A comprehensive understanding of NSW criminal law and procedure and Family Law;
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise while having carriage of a large volume of files;
- The ability to work autonomously and part of a team;
- Experience appearing at Court;
- Great leadership skills,
- A strong ability to follow firm procedures and protocols;
- Willingness to take direction and receive constructive feedback;
- High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new tasks quickly;
- Ability to source and retain new clients;
- Knowledge of LEAP Legal Practice Management Software; and
- LEAP software experience is preferred, with training available for suitable candidates;
- A current driver's licence as travel is required between offices and to Court.
Daily Tasks & Responsibilities
- Liaising with clients.
- Attending conferences with clients and barristers, etc.
- Attending Court.
- Drafting Court documents including submissions.
- Providing practical legal advice to clients.
- Working with support staff to complete administrative tasks.
- Mentoring junior lawyers.
