Overview:

We are a privately owned, family-friendly dental practice located in the heart of Paddington. Our boutique practice provides all aspects of general dentistry for all ages and we are seeking a part-time (or full time) Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our growing team.

Job Description:

As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist at our practice, you will:

· Provide chairside assistance to our dentists during a variety of procedures.

· Sterilise and maintain dental equipment and instruments to ensure that they are ready for use.

  • Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
  • Provide chairside assistance to our dentists during a variety of procedures and surgeries.
  • Provide instrument sterilisation
  • Maintain infection control standards and procedures
  • Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression
  • Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
  • Be a part of our friendly, warm, and genuine dental family that values and appreciates our staff members.
  • High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly & warm manner

Qualifications:

· Dental assisting experience of at least one year is required.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Superior customer service skills and the ability to care for patients at times of distress.

· Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is highly preferred.

· Valid Police Clearance and two references.

· Experience with Dental 4 Windows software is preferred.

Pay: $32.00 – $42.00 per hour
