Medical Receptionist

Located at 11 Torrens St in beautiful Victor Harbor, Victor Medical Centre (VMC) is a bustling medical practice consisting of GP, specialists, and urgent care doctors. We are seeking both Full Time (38 hours per week)/Fixed Term (12 month) and Casual medical receptionists to join our team.

Medical receptionists are the first point of contact for patients and referring doctors. Primary responsibilities include:

• Incoming patient reception, attending patients on presentation and checking all patient information is current and correct
• Answering the telephone and triaging calls
• Scheduling & rebooking appointments, updating patient information in Zedmed, dealing with patient enquiries
• Other administrative duties such as assisting with mail preparation, refilling of equipment consumables, fulfilling administrative requests from management.

We are open from 8am to 6pm most weekdays, and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Ideal candidates can work shifts across any day of the week with a focus on weekday shifts.
