About the role

As a Mobile Plant Operator - Crushing & Screening, you will play a crucial role in the operations of James Civil Group, a leading provider of construction services. In this full-time position based in Benalla, VIC 3672, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile crushing and screening equipment on construction sites.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operate mobile crushing and screening plant equipment in a safe and productive manner
  2. Undertake routine maintenance and inspections of assigned plant and equipment
  3. Monitor plant performance and make adjustments as required to optimise output
  4. Communicate effectively with the project team to ensure smooth plant operations
  5. Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of plant operations

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a mobile plant operator in a crushing and screening environment. Minimum 2 years' experience required.
  2. Strong understanding of the operation and maintenance of crushing and screening equipment
  3. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction site environment
  4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Valid driver's license and relevant plant operation tickets
