ASL Airlines Australia is seeking either a Storesperson or Stores Manager to join our Stores team in Bankstown, Sydney.

Qualifications & experience

  • Previous experience in aviation stores or maintenance management.
  • Knowledge of aviation materials, tools, equipment and terminology.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack and inspect stores components prior to 'GR' Allocation and storage of the part;
  • Receive unserviceable parts, back into stock, repack and return to supplier or despatch for repair.
  • Monitor tool calibration control and shelf life.
  • Maintain the 'in house' Quantum computer system for stock control purposes.
  • Comply with the requirements of the MOE, RSQCM and relevant Engineering procedure;
  • Ensure compliance with any Dangerous Goods requirements involved in the despatch/receipt process.
  • Replenish line station stock levels by way of 'minimum Level' reporting in Quantum.
  • Conduct Stock Checking periodically for accuracy and Financial reporting.
