About the business

Southport Auto Recyclers is a used automotive parts recycler based in Southport on the Gold Coast.

We are made up of a dynamic team striving to offer industry-leading service to the retail and trade industry dealing in New and Used auto parts along with scrap metals.

Pinnacle pro experience, tools and Forklift License is an advantage but not essential in the role. Strong knowledge of various vehicle makes and models is a must.

Duties include:

  • Vehicle/yard management
  • Engine/Gearbox/electrical testing
  • Fluids removal and recovery
  • Parts dismantling off vehicles on a hoist
  • Tagging & Quality checking parts
  • Very basic computer skills
  • Very basic warehouse skills
  • Freight organization and distribution

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • Mechanical experience, however 1-2 years of experience as a vehicle dismantler in a Commercial Dismantling operations is an advantage
  • A strong work ethic
  • Own Basic Tool Kit
  • Forklift License - not essential but preferred
  • Driver's License – not essential but preferred

Benefits and perks

Operating hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm five days a week. Employment is full time so hours are flexible within and also outside of these time frames.
