Partnerships Specialist

Youth Focus is looking for an experienced partnerships specialist to join our dynamic Burswood team

About the Role

Reporting to the Partnerships Lead, this role will actively seek funding opportunities such as grants and sponsorships, and will build and steward relationships with partners. Key responsibilities include:

• Support the Partnerships Lead in managing, researching and identifying new grants, sponsorships and funding opportunities
• Establish and maintain connection of prospective partners aligned with our values and goals, and steward relationships with our existing partners and sponsors
• Maintain knowledge of our organisation to enhance engagement with external stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify potential funding opportunities
• Develop and deliver a diverse range of proposals for submission
• Manage documentation and track data across internal systems (CRM and grants management platform)

About You

To be considered for this position, applicants will have:

• Demonstrated experience in identifying and successfully securing new sources of funding
• Demonstrated experience in writing proposals, grants and submissions
• Experience in developing funding reporting and acquittals with great accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with capacity to adapt to varied audiences
• Experience with relationship management systems and maintenance of databases
• Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated success managing multiple, complex partner relationships
• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business or Marketing (advantageous)
• 'C' Class driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to work outside of standard operating hours, as required
