Steamatic Gold Coast is a family owned and operated franchise currently looking for an enthusiastic Contents Crew member to join our team.

Job tasks and responsibilities

About the role

Primarily dealing with contents and structure affected during a flood, mould or fire. Cleaning and packing contents and inventory of damaged contents are key parts of the role.

Start your day from our factory in Helensvale and travel in a company vehicle to scheduled jobs to assist customers with water, mould and fire damage.

Variety in each day with different jobs, customers and skills required.

The position offers above award wage rates, allowances for the right applicant.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Cleaning experience will be well regarded.
  • Must be trustworthy; able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly motivated and display attention to detail
  • Must be physically fit
  • Electronic Reporting Skills – i.e. use of iPad
  • Possess a current Australian Driver's License
  • Willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check, current Police Check and full Medical

Responsibilities include:

  • Detailed Cleaning of contents and structure.
  • Detailed Inventory and photographing of damaged contents
  • Packing of contents for transport.
  • Complete all necessary job documentation on an iPad
