You do not need to be studying Education or have any experience teaching/tutoring to apply.

Since forming in January 2021, the Two Tutors team has grown from 2 to many And as we head into a new school term with a growing wait list of student, we're once again looking to expand our team.

We're a team of life-long learners, and many of us are current university/TAFE students. Two Tutors has a focus on the learning journey, rather than the A+ result. We encourage anyone with a love of learning to apply, whether you're a humanities-nerd, STEM lover, or anywhere in between.

Recent high school graduates and current Grade 12s with a driver's licence are encouraged to apply

We are a completely queer-friendly workplace and would love to continue to grow our diverse team of tutors.

The details:

  • Casual role offering $31-38 per hour + superannuation
  • A 10% pay rise after 4 full terms of tutoring
  • Working one-on-one with students in their own homes
  • Commencing in the new school term (Tue 7th Oct)
  • Teaching resources provided
  • This role would be ideal for a university student or recent high school graduate seeking flexible, casual work

What we're looking for:

  • Availability after school on at least two days (weekend availability is also great, but not essential)
  • A driver's licence, your own reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel up to 20 mins
  • Eligibility for a Bluecard (Working with Children check)
  • A keen interest in learning & teaching
  • A commitment to your own studies (past or present)

Your application MUST include:

  • Your current suburb (as we travel to students' homes, this is important info)
  • A brief cover letter about why you'd make a great tutor

Again we emphasise - you do not need to be studying Education or have any experience teaching/tutoring to apply.
