Sewing Machinist

What You'll Do

• Sew and assemble a variety of garments using industrial sewing machines.
• Work from patterns and instructions to create high-quality pieces across menswear and womenswear.
• Handle fabrics with care, cutting, trimming, and finishing to a professional standard.
• Apply stitching details, trims and embellishments (e.g. french seams, topstitching) with consistent quality control at every stage, making small repairs or adjustments when needed.
• Support production where required: create production samples and assist with ad-hoc cutting, alterations and repairs.
• Keep machines in good working order with basic maintenance and care.
• Collaborate with our design and production teams to bring collections to life.
• Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe work area.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience sewing garments or working as a machinist.
• Strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, the ability to interpret instructions, and proficiency with various sewing techniques and machinery (straight stitch, overlocker).
• A good understanding of garment construction and fabrics.
• Great attention to detail and a love for quality craftsmanship.
• Someone who works well under pressure and enjoys being part of a small team.
• Basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in sample making or small production runs.
• Knowledge of the fashion industry, especially luxury and streetwear
• A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,875.57 – $61,798.62 per year
