Specialised Ground Support Role | 8/6 Roster | Critical Safety Function

CSA Mine is seeking experienced Cablebolters to join our underground team. Using specialised rigs, you'll install cable bolts to reinforce rock structures and ensure safe, efficient mining operations at one of Australia's highest-grade copper mines.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate underground cablebolting rigs to install cable bolts in designated areas
  • Drill holes, pump grout, and install steel cables to stabilise rock masses
  • Follow ground support plans and geological instructions accurately
  • Conduct pre-start checks and perform basic maintenance on equipment
  • Work closely with geotechnical, development, and production teams
  • Uphold strict safety and environmental standards at all times
What You'll Bring
  • Experience operating cablebolting rigs in underground mining environments
  • Sound understanding of ground support techniques and geotechnical practices
  • A strong focus on safety and attention to detail
  • Manual driver's licence (required); HR licence (desirable)
  • Ability to work in physically demanding and confined conditions
