We have an opportunity for a
Bid & Sales Operations Manager
to take ownership of our response process and the operational cadence of the sales function.

You will take a lead role in Bid Management whilst being a crucial enabler of the Sales, Solution Design, Partnerships and Marketing teams by ensuring smooth and efficient running of day-to-day sales operations.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of the local IT market as well as solid experience of both IT services bid management and sales operations.

Role responsibilities:

Bid Management

  • You will be working closely with subject matter experts to bring together compelling tender responses.
  • Review and qualify bids/tenders, understanding business problems and driving business outcomes.
  • Coordinate response milestones, deadlines, deliverables and drive the team for completion of bid content for quality responses.
  • Be responsible for bid and response compliance based on customer response requirements.
  • Manage multiple bid responses in parallel, sequencing events and resources for the bid timelines.
  • Drive improvements and streamlining processes for bid execution with sales and solution teams.
  • Refine bid and proposal content and assist with document library lifecycle management.

Sales Operations

  • Internal SME for all things CRM and contract execution; being responsible for daily administration, ensuring data quality to enable sales forecasting, pipeline management and management reporting.
  • Develop and maintain sales reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights into sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities to inform decision-making.
  • Facilitate the team's cadence through team and governance meetings.
  • Champion continuous improvement to uplift the team's ways of working to enable efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate and implement the team's enablement and training program to keep the team across new releases, industry trends and partner programs.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Workforce Management and Finance.
  • Provide generalist coordination support to the Client Engagement team including on-boarding management, presentation development, events, meetings.

Required skills & experience:

  • You are an experienced Bid Manager with detailed knowledge of preparing IT bid responses to enterprise customers, federal government and panel RFPs.
  • Experience working in a Sales Support/Operations role within an IT services or technology company.
  • Expert with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Excellent communication across all levels of the business, a team-player, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to prioritise and deliver to hard deadlines.
  • Attention to detail with regards to reporting, proofreading, editing and content improvement.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to manage data from multiple points and provide meaningful analysis and insights.
  • You are proactive, organised and able to effectively influence stakeholders.
  • Experience in Project Management will be beneficial.
