The Role

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Settlement Officer to join our team. You'll manage the end-to-end loan settlement process, including signing loan contracts with clients, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and supporting our brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage files from unconditional approval through to settlement
  2. Maintain and update the settlement pipeline
  3. Liaise with lenders, solicitors/conveyancers, and clients
  4. Keep clients informed with regular updates
  5. Review and save loan contract documentation and settlement conditions
  6. Assist clients with signing loan contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  7. Coordinate settlement dates and troubleshoot issues
  8. Manage construction loan progress payments
  9. Provide post-settlement support and follow-up

About You:

  1. Experience in mortgage broking, banking, financial services, or a conveyancing office is highly regarded
  2. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  3. Excellent communication
  4. Proactive, solutions-focused, and client-first mindset
  5. Comfortable with CRM systems and digital documentation
