About Us

Wicked Ice Cream is a vibrant and popular ice cream shop located in beautiful Port Douglas, dedicated to serving high-quality products with excellent customer service. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise, train, and support staff members to maintain high performance and team morale.
  • Oversee inventory management, stock control, and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
  • Monitor financial performance, including sales targets, budgets, and cost control.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Contribute to marketing and promotional activities to enhance brand presence.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Store Manager or in a similar supervisory role within retail, hospitality, or food service.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage staff rosters and performance effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.
